5.1 About this Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, downgrades, billing, and refund requests work for Solardeck.
This Policy applies in addition to our Terms of Service.

5.2 Business-use service
Solardeck is intended for business and professional users only.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you confirm that you are purchasing for business or professional use, not as a consumer.
5.3 Subscription billing
Paid plans are billed through our payment provider.
Billing periods, prices, plan limits, and included features are shown at checkout, in the product, or on our pricing page.
Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
5.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription using the available billing tools in the Service or by contacting support@solardeck.co.
Unless stated otherwise:
cancellation stops future renewal charges;
your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period;
you remain responsible for fees already incurred;
we do not automatically refund unused time in a billing period.
5.5 Downgrades
If you downgrade from a paid plan to a lower plan or free plan, your access to certain features may be restricted.
This may affect:
active proposal limits;
AI generation limits;
PDF exports;
client portal links;
seats;
branding;
templates;
support;
advanced export features;
workspace functionality.
You are responsible for exporting or saving materials you need before downgrading if those materials may become unavailable under the lower plan.
5.6 Refunds
Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable.
During Solardeck's early test period, we may review refund requests case by case. We may consider factors such as duplicate charges, billing errors, accidental purchases, service availability, account usage, PDF exports, client portal sharing, AI generation usage, and support history.
We do not guarantee refunds for:
unused subscription time;
failure to cancel before renewal;
lack of use;
dissatisfaction after substantial usage;
change of mind;
results or outcomes from using generated outputs;
project decisions;
client decisions;
inaccurate inputs or assumptions supplied by users.
5.7 Billing errors
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us promptly at support@solardeck.co with the relevant account email, charge date, amount, and explanation.
If we confirm a billing error, we will correct it.
5.8 Failed payments
If payment fails, we may retry the payment method, ask you to update billing details, suspend paid features, downgrade your account, or restrict access until payment is resolved.
5.9 Plan changes and pricing changes
We may change plan features, limits, and prices from time to time.
Where required, we will give reasonable notice of material pricing changes affecting existing paid users.
5.10 International users
Solardeck is intended for business and professional users.
Refunds, cancellations, and billing issues are handled according to this Policy, except where mandatory law gives you rights that cannot be excluded.
If you access or purchase Solardeck from outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for understanding whether any local tax, billing, procurement, consumer, or business-purchase rules apply to you.
5.11 Mandatory rights
Nothing in this Policy limits rights you may have under laws that cannot be excluded.
